Hey, I’m Kelly, a Career Coach (and Mom to a baby human and pup, Wife, Sommelier and lover of true crime).

I help women leave jobs that drag them down and land new positions that light them up.

Through the process of discovering and utilizing your natural strengths, we transform your whole life - you’ll wake up in the morning looking forward to the day ahead.

When your current job is really stressful, it’s hard to strategize about the future. You’re just trying to get through each day. I’m here to help you get to the other side.

I personally know the challenges.

After 6 years in the wine industry, I knew something had to change.

I wanted to love what I was doing, but something felt off. Very off.

At the time, this is what I knew -

  • First, my work didn’t feel deeply meaningful. My gut told me I was meant for something else, but it was hard to know exactly what.

  • Second, I didn’t feel like myself anymore. I wasn’t the strong, confident and happy woman I used to be.

  • Third, I was in a toxic work environment. Sexual harassment and gossip were pervasive in the company culture.

All of this culminated into a lot of stress (i.e. lots of crying). My confidence plummeted.

While it was time to make a change, there were a few obstacles holding me back -

  • I didn’t know what direction I wanted to take my career.

  • I didn’t want to leave my job without a plan.

  • I didn’t want to repeat my current situation somewhere else.

  • I was scared to let go of the known and try something new.

With so many question marks, I needed a strategic partner to help me think through my next steps, so I hired a Coach. While it was a big decision, it was both the quickest and most intentional way forward.

I realized that if I truly wanted to find a job that I loved, I needed to stop asking my friends and family what they thought I should do, and start looking inward for my own answers.

A strengths based approach -

As part of this self discovery process, I took the Clifton Strengths assessment to gain more insight into my natural gifts and talents.

This was my “ah-ha” moment. It validated what I always knew about myself - that I was meant to help others learn about themselves, grow and thrive.

It explained why my gifts were valuable to the world. It even suggested ways I could utilize my strengths each day so my career felt more meaningful.

These insights helped me understand -

  • why at the end of a work day, I’d feel zapped of energy instead of energized.

  • why my current role didn’t feel fulfilling.

  • why psychology and human emotions had always seemed like an interesting area of work.

  • why it felt really good when my friends would seek me out for advice and later thank me for being a great listener.

This new found awareness gave me permission (and the guts) to explore a career change as a Coach. So in 2015, I enrolled in the Co-Active Training Institute to start my professional journey of supporting others in their own self discovery and fulfillment.

As a result of making this career change, I thrived.

And most importantly, I knew why -

  • I was consistently utilizing my talents. I leaned into my empathy, deep listening skills, and ability for others to feel seen while strategizing about the future.

  • My work mattered to me on a deep level. The positive impact on my clients gave me a sense of purpose and direction.

  • The opportunities to be challenged, grow and learn were unlimited.

I regained my confidence, sense of self and joy.

And this is what I want for my clients.

I believe that life is too short to be miserable at work. The wrong job and a toxic work environment doesn’t just affect your 9-5. It impacts every aspect of your life.

It doesn’t have to be this way, but I understand how hard it can be to figure out a path forward.

I know there is a job that aligns with your natural strengths, innate interests and desire for a positive and supportive workplace.

Together, it’s our job to dig into your unique gifts in order to create a path forward towards meaningful and positive work.
